Tornado Schmado

Let me tell you what fun is: me, Mommy, LJ & Jezza all in our middle bathroom with pillows and blankets! (and mommy had a bottle of wine)

Right before bedtime Mommy decides that for whatever reason we need to ALL go to the bathroom together. I hate to use generic blogger terms, but OMG.

I LOVE my dogs - I mean, I REALLY love my dogs. Unfortunately I can't always say the feeling is reciprocal. More often than not they run away from me. Not in a bathroom. Not when the door is shut. Carte Blanche on tail and ear pulling.

We stayed in the bathroom for about an hour before Mommy finally decided she had had enough - I guess her bottle was empty. Regardless, it was at least an hour past my bedtime and I was in NO mood to go to bed.

In and out, in and out. I always win, so out was the final verdict. Plus, Jezza and LJ were in Mommy's bed too and it was kinda like the OK Coral ( my favorite bedtime story...huh?)

My Jenny Claire and GDiddy were not as comfy cozy as we were in our bed. They got hit by a tornado, and although they were both fine, their house and gardens got lots of damage.

I got the day off from school, and me and Jon David played all day while Mommy and Aunt Kiki mixed Orange Juice with something that was bubbly - and made a loud pop when you opened it. I know this because I heard it FOUR times throughout the day.

Tomorrow is Halloween - I can't wait!

Fall fun - Geaux Tigers

I don't remember Fall being so fun last year - of course, that was eons ago.

Daddy is gone again - this time to Virginia. I wish Mommy was more attentive when Daddy is speaking, then she could tell me what he is doing there. Oh well. Work with what you have.

I am sure I have mentioned that Mommy and Aunt Kiki have me 'betrothed' to Jon David. Well, I just figured out how to wiki and I am NOT sure if this is OK with me. He can't even open a door for me yet much less cater to my every whim. At least I have the opportunity to start training him early.

Once I improve on enunciating, me, Mommy and Aunt Kiki are having a sit down.

Regardless- Jon David is certainly more than tolerable. He invited me to his 2nd birthday party this past weekend. And even though Daddy kept saying something about "open day of hunting season" - we ALL went and had lots of fun.

It was game day,so the party theme was LSU. This created a problem in our house. You see, Mommy is a local and Daddy went to Clemson. So although they both root for Tigers (rawr) I guess they aren't the same breed or something.

Mommy put me in my LSU cheerleader dress then thirty minutes later Daddy put me in my Clemson cheerleader dress. Then I heard alot of shouting and finally I went to the party wearing BOTH dresses. I was warm, but you could see the Clemson dress through my LSU sleeve.

I think I pulled it off!

Another eventful diaper coming soon...

Mommy should learn to brush her teeth in the living room...

Don't worry- I DIDn't swallow the space key!

Q & A with H.R.H.

I am sure people are fascinated by me and my antics - so I can only assume that a Q&A would be in order to please my loyal subjects (both of you).

What do you do when you are not blogging?
Mostly play, but I do enjoy a nap during the day and the occasional meal

How long have you been blogging?
I started blogging back when I was only 20 months old. I had followed a few blogs prior to that and got so many tips and advice on how to handle my parents. I wanted to give something too, so I started this blog.

What is your favorite word?
oh, that's easy - MINE

What is your least favorite word?
NO. Well wait - my least favorite to hear or say?
To say
Oh - well than I would have to go with YES.

If you could have a superpower, what would you choose?
Hmm... probably being invisible. That Mommy has eyes in the back of her head I tell you...

Where do you see yourself, blogging wise, in the next 6 months?
Whoa - that is REALLY looking forward. Let's see - I definately see myself improving on spelling and grammer. That haven't really gone into that much at Daycare. But I also see myself being able to understand my own emotions better and hopefully relating them in a more effective way.

Why such a long name and where did Her Royal Heinous, Queen Bee originate?
Mommy. She has called me Bee since I was a wee little baby, Her Royal Heinous was added when I learned to walk.

What is your favorite book?
I would have to say Olivia by Ian Falconer. I am sooo entertained by how precocious Olivia is. I also love the color Red and Cats, which both play big parts in his writing.
And I also just adore George Rodrique's Why is Blue Dog Blue?

What type of music do you enjoy?
I really have a wide variety of musical tastes. It just depends on the morning. On rainy days I tend to like Showtunes more - you know, Oklahoma, Oliver, Annie. But there is nothing better than a sunny afternoon and jamming out to BareNaked Ladies SnackTime CD.

Last Question - What advice would you offer potential bloggers?
Bee yourself! Don't try to create a persona, real people are so much more interesting.
Oh - and don't eat the buttons from the keyboard - people get REALLY mad and it hurts.

Natchez Balloon Festival

The Natchez Balloon Festival ROCKS! I have to say, I only saw ONE balloon - but it was my favorite balloon of all time!

Unfortunately for us, the wind was too strong for the balloons to actually take off - but we still had a GRAND time!

I was walking down the street after we stopped and ate, when I came across this bathtub. I had to climb inside and Mommy and Daddy just cracked up and grabbed the camera like lightening. I still don't see what the big deal was - they see me in bathtubs all the time!

The Balloon festival is a BIG deal for Natchez and they go all out. There was fair with rides and a slide - I went wild!

Here is me with my cousin Max:

I think Mommy had a bit too much of the sauce - look at that Carnie who strapped me in. I believe they call my seatbelt "bungie cord"

Natchez is a beautiful town and we spent lots of time walking around and looking at the beautiful antebellum homes. Occasionally someone would be outside drinking coffee or playing with a dog, and they were all so friendly. I can't wait to go back to Natchez.

Results of my photo shoot

DeAnn Arnold Photography is just my favorite. No one captures me as well DeAnn. (no one always has smarties available and stuffed Elmos either)

Here are some excerpts from my photo shoot.

Send all modeling requests to my agent, Mommy.

Busy little Bee

What a wonderful weekend! It was packed with my favorite things and my favorite people.

Saturday morning I had a photo shoot EARLY in the morning. I don't usually like getting up that early, but Daddy was there to take the sting out alittle.

It was an important photo shoot. I had to get pictures made in my Halloween costume, but even more importantly, CHRISTMAS PICTURES!

Mommy picked out her two favorite dresses from my Christmas Collection 2009. The first one was a pink smocked bishop dress with Santa and alligators for reindeers! That one was my favorite. The other was bright teal blue, again smocked bishop dress - it IS Louisiana, with Christmas trees. Mommy said it looked very pretty on me. I can't wait to show off my dresses.

After my photo session we went to the Buddy Walk. I go EVERY year to the Buddy Walk, it has been a tradition upheld my ENTIRE life. I walk for my God-brother Blanton, he is one of my favorite people and we always have fun together. Wouldn't YOU walk for him?

All my peeps were at the Buddy Walk: Paddy, Piper, Sarah Bailey & Harper, Blanton & Elizabeth and my betrothed, Jon David. Jon David had a photo shoot right after mine that morning, but he had a hard time sitting still and has to go back for a make-up session. He didn't let it get him down though.

Next stop was an outdoor festival. This year they let me have a banana and strawberry smoothie. I couldn't put it down. Then I had a banana, honey and peanut butter sandwich. Not too shabby.

I was pooped after that so I went home and took a little cat nap.

With a little beauty rest on my side I got up and got ready for my next shin-dig. LSU pre-party at my friend Piper's house. The usual suspects were there and we made a LOT of noise.

But that was just the pre-party! Right before the game started we had to sneak out and go to Jon David's house. Aunt Kiki put out the disco ball and my favorite CD and we danced till the sun went down. Then I decided I was not getting enough attention so I took my shirt off and got on the coffee table to do some more dancin'. That didn't go over quiet as well as I had thought.

We spent the night at Jon David's and Aunt Kiki made us breakfast - but she was out of coffee.

Whew! I am exhausted re-living my weekend - it may be time for another cat nap. This weekend we are supposed to go to Natchez MS and watch the Hot Air Balloon races!

The Dr said I had Pnemonia today though - so we will have to wait and see. I still have ALL my energy so I really hope we can go!

Lets talk about me

Life has been exciting lately.
The weather is finally changing and I am able to get back outside to play. I love playing outside. Daddy built me a swingset from scratch. (well, GDiddy helped) It has swings and a slide, a rockwall and a sandbox underneath!

Mommy and I have fun playing in the sandbox - but I don't actually like the sand. It doesn't feel right against my delicate skin, so I sit outside the sandbox and point to the things I want Mommy to fetch for me. We have lots of fun!

The rockwall was a little hard to conquer, but I finally stepped up to the plate this past weekend. Luckily Mommy goes nowhere without her camera - so she documented the entire event. Seriously - the ENTIRE thing...

I had so much fun!

This week was also picture week at school. I know because they sent me home Monday with a sticker on my back that said exactly that. Now - Mommy gets my pictures taken ALOT from Ms DeAnn and we all know she doesn't shy away from taking pictures on her own either. But, she learned her lesson on school picture snobbery. Last time everyone in the class got tshirts except for me because Mommy told them they couldn't take my picture. So THIS time I got to have pictures made, too. Don't I look pretty?

Did I mention that I recently learned that I LOVE chocolate! I can't believe my Mommy and Daddy have been depriving me of this!

And finally - this week I have decided to test out my scientific skill sets. I have yet to determine what I want to 'BE' when I grow up - so I am going to test several theories. Tonight's test was to see if I would be exceptional at computer programming. I think Mommy thinks I am exceptional - here's why:

I have GOT to have another conversation with Mommy about this camera situation...

She got out of the couch

She did it! I am soooo proud of Mommy! She actually got out of bed today and reaquainted herself with the living!

She GOT UP - and took a shower...

And got dressed...

And found her favorite jewlery that had been stashed while she was in the hospital...

And oogled the neighbor's yard (while cursing their perfect ferns and blooming azaleas - I mean, SERIOUSLY would you want to live next door to this?!?! Just wait til Xmas lights go up)...

And brushed her teeth...

And FINALLY ventured to Target. I am no longer supportive of Mommy getting off the couch. Before she got out of the neighborhood she got flipped off, honked at AND passed (in a neighborhood - she isn't THAT old!)

Then I got home to entertain her! Daddy has a boy's weekend planned of squirrel hunting and gluttony at our camp. I guess that means I HAVE to pay attention to Mommy.

She was kinda cool today - she held me and gave me grapes (cut up of course). She also let me watch Elmo and tried to sing with me. She kinda sucks though.

OH - and see what I mean about the darn camera?!? She has to DOCUMENT EVERYTHING now - welcome to my world!

A good day though, we will see about tomorrow.

Mommy's Flowers

Someone needs to tell Mommy her flowers are dead- I think that means she should get off the couch and reenter productive society.

UGGGGHHHH!!!

Mommy has been sick for a couple weeks - so it has just been me and Daddy, which is how I LOVE it!

I get all of Daddy's attention and he lets me stay up late - like until almost 8!

Mommy was gone for a while, so now that she is back home, I ignore her and cry if she tries to come near me. Luckily Daddy's legs are always close by to hide behind if she tries to take me.

She even made me shove strawberries in my cheeks until I couldn't breathe almost. She kept trying to take me from Daddy while I was snacking, and everytime I had to quickly shove the strawberry in my mouth so I get a could get a better grip on Daddy.

The woman is relentless.

Then, of ALL things, Daddy bought her a new camera!! As you can imagine, this does not bode well for me. Here are few exerpts from night 1 of the camera. My life is soooooo over - no more privacy, no more bad hair days undocumented...sigh...

Seriously? Are you still taking pictures? My cheeks are getting tired!

OK - no more, you know how I hate pictures of me with wet hair!

Momm-eeeeeeeee, I said NO MORE PICTURES!

(But aren't my eyelashes perfect in this picture??!?!)

And for future reference - Here are JezzaBelle (11yrs Boston Terrier and the better looking of the two)

And LJ - 8yr?? Jack Russell
